Return Policy

Items need to be returned in original packaging in new and unused condition within 30 days of purchase. Please have your original order number or digital receipt present when making a return. If you need to ship your return, please include your order number and explanation on a sheet of paper included in the return package - return shipping costs are the customers responsibility. 
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@getyourbearingsskate.com

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping Policy

We are shipping directly from our shop in Seattle, Wa. Due to COVID-19, USPS and UPS (our two shipping carriers) cannot guarantee shipping times and are sometimes delayed. We unfortunately do not have any control once your package arrives at USPS or UPS. If you suspect your package to be lost or delayed, please use the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email to contact the shipping carrier. Both shipping carriers offer a claim process for any and all lost or stolen packages. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. 
Shipping times chosen within checkout at getyourbearingsskate.com are estimates only. We require 24-48 hours for handling and processing. We cannot control the time it takes for the manufacturer to ship items that are backordered. You will receive tracking information when your items are prepared for shipment. Once your items are in the hands of the shipper, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you suspect your package has been lost or stolen, a claim must be filed through the shipping carrier. We offer shipping insurance at checkout for additional protection if your package is lost or stolen.

Consignment Policy

Items are priced by what Sellers have set for their items. No negotiating. Prices listed are set by Sellers.  Buyers-please do not offer lower prices, bid, or barter with us. All transactions are made on behalf of Buyer/Seller through 'Get Your Bearings Skate Shop' using Credit Card. We do not accept personal checks. We do not represent the buyer or the seller. WA state taxes apply


Consignment items are sold ‘as is’ and cannot be returned.  NO RETURNS.

Get Your Bearings Skate Shop assumes no liability or responsibility for the condition of the products sold through the consignment. The Get Your Bearings Skate Shop functions in limited capacity as a Broker/ Catalyst for the purpose of assisting in transactions between the seller and buyer of used skate goods. Sellers are required to provide as much detailed and accurate information as possible regarding items description and should contain enough information for buyers to make informed decisions about their purchases. Items sold through the consignment shop are not warranted by either manufacturer's warranty or Get Your Bearings Skate Shop.

Get Your Bearings Skate Shop only accepts the following items to be sold under consignment terms:

Fully assembled and functional skates, including wheels, plates, toe stops and laces.

Any broken/ defective parts found at drop off and/or while being sold with GYBSS will be the responsibility of the Sellers to replace. 


All items sold under consignment must be in new or gently used condition and contain all parts.  Get Your Bearings Skate Shop will not accept equipment outside these listed conditions. 

Get Your Bearings Skate Shop retains 50% of sale of consignment gear as a service fee unless Seller chooses store credit. Store credit rate is 60%, which means Get Your Bearings Skate Shop retains 40% of sale if that option is chosen.

The consignment gear will remain at the seller’s set price for 30 days.  If the gear has not sold in 30 days, the seller will be notified and the gear will be reduced in price by 20% from the original selling price. If it has not sold by 60 days, the seller will be notified and the gear will be reduced by 50% from the original selling price. If the gear has not sold by the 90 day mark, the seller will be notified and asked to pick the equipment up.  The seller has 14 days to claim the consignment gear submitted.  If the seller does not pick up the submitted gear within the 14 day time period the gear will be donated to the league of choice as decided by Get Your Bearings Skate Shop

It is the responsibility of the seller to read, understand and seek any clarification of the terms listed on this agreement before agreeing to sell. 

The seller must agree to the terms listed here to submit gear for sale under consignment terms.
